About the Instructor

Hey everyone, my name is Joe, and I’m really excited to welcome you into this program.

I’ve always felt most at home in and around the ocean. Over time, that passion turned into scuba diving, and eventually into becoming a certified instructor. But what I realized along the way is that it was never just about diving—it was about what the ocean teaches us. Patience, awareness, respect for the environment, and a completely different way of seeing the world.

That’s what led me to create this program. I wanted to build something that goes beyond a typical classroom—something where students can actually experience science in real time and connect with the ocean in a meaningful way.

What excites me most about this upcoming semester is watching students grow from being unsure in the water to confident, capable, and curious explorers.
